Donate to 'Beautiful Life' Store

At the end of the year 

I usually do home cleaning, sorting out my stuff, etc...

 

This time I realized that I have a lot of new clothes

that I have never worn ~

Also, I had books and other stuff that I don't use

but that is in new or in very good quality.

 

So, I decided to take them all to the 

'Beautiful Life' Store 

(아름다운가게)

 

'Beautiful Life' Store

is a special store where you can donate your stuff

or buy the stuff that was donated by others.

 

It is like a flea market.

 

'Beautiful Life' Stores are all around Korea,

so you can just search for the closest store in your area.

I am living in Seoul Songpa-gu district

and I found 'Beautiful Life' Store

around 20 mins walking from my place

 

The store was on the 2nd floor

so I passed it by in the beginning

A very nice thing about taking your stuff to that store is

you can get a Donation bill and it will be considered 

when you will do a year-end tax adjustment,

thus, you can get a tax exemption.

 

So if you want to count your donations to the Beautiful Store

you need to get a Bill.

 

It is very easy. 

You can ask an employee there

and they will help you.

All you need is a Kakao Talk app

where you will scan a QR code

and get your personal membership code.

Once you receive that code

tell it to the employee and they will add your donations to your account

and after that, you will get a message in Kakao Talk

 

At the bottom of that message will be a button 

'기부금영수증 신청하기'

Click on it and fill in the special form and submit it.

It will take around 1-2 weeks to get a Donation Bill.

Behind it,

you can buy something at that store too.

There is a lot of different stuff

including clothes, books, food, home appliances, etc.

Many companies donate their products to the Beautiful Store too

Especially, when the product is about to expire.

 

I still have many toys that I picked from the toy picking machine

But I wanted to take them to the orphan center.

But...I have never done it before, so I am not sure

if it is actually fine or possible to do it...
