These days you can't go abroad without a COVID PCR Test
There are a lot of hospitals where you can take a PCR test in Korea. But also, the test fee is different. And can be up to 200$
Recently, I was in the Seoul Child Hospital. (I attached the location below). And I think it is the best place to take a PCR test because there are no long lines. No need to make a reservation. And it is comparatively cheap.
The test proceeds outside, so right after you pass the main gates you will see the booths. First of all, you need to fill in a simple survey with your basic info, your health condition, etc.
Then you will need to submit it to the 1st booth to register you.
After that, you will need to pay the PCR test fee in the next booth. And here is the most important thing.
If you have national insurance, you will need to pay 78,560 KRW. And 10,000 KRW on the next day to get your results in English.
PCR test fee (w/insurance): 78,560 KRW
Results in English: 10,000 KRW
Total: 88,560 KRW
Without insurance, I think the PCR test fee will be around 95,000 KRW
You don't need to make a reservation. Just come during working hours. There is a lunchtime between 12 pm and 1 pm (if I am not mistaken)
On the next day in the morning, you will get the results of your PCR test via message. And in the afternoon you can go to the hospital to collect your results.
Here is a map with the hospital's location.
Address: 260 Heolleung-ro, Naegok-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul
