Seoul, Jamsil Sport Complex
Probably, you have seen the Pokemon Boom in South Korea...
Maybe you even stood in line to buy pokemon bread.
I think the Pokemon wave started in February, and it doesn't stop.
Pokemon bread, Pokemon ice cream, Pokemon festival, Pokemon Go, Pokemon pop-up store...
Pokemons everywhere...
Sometimes I have a feeling that I live in Pokemon country lol
Earlier in August this year,
there was an E-Prix festival and a Pokemon Festival.
There was a free zone where everyone could enter without a ticket.
And there was a Pokemon Parade.
Actually,
there were 2 types of Pokemon parades:
A grand Pokemon parade and a mini pokemon parade.
The grande Pokemon parade was inside where tickets were required,
and the mini one was for free.
So, I watched the mini pokemon parade.
I haven't seen the grand one, so I can't compare them,
but the mini parade was cool!
And I think some parents had more fun than their kids lol
But these chubby Pikachus dance too good!
There were around 7 Pikachus,
and the parade itself lasted for around 30 mins.
Besides the Pikachu parade,
there were many different booths and entertainment zones.
Samsung represented their new gadgets
Galaxy zFlip4, Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Fold4, Galaxy Buds Pro 2
Also,
there was a collaboration of
Soccer Son Heung Min and Hana Bank
with lots of different activities,
visitors even could win small prizes.
So, overall, it was a good festival,
and the level of organization and preparation was outstanding!
